Malaika Abbas has to her credit a post graduate degree of Business Economics with a distintion of being a gold medalist. She has done her BSC (Hons) in Economics from the Beaconhouse National University. As an intern, she has worked with the State Bank of Pakistan with focus on sugarcane farmers; Mitchell's with marketing department; and CNBC on pre and post production procedures. In BIPP her research work focuses mainly on quantification of economic and social issues. She has published several research papers in the fields of economics. Currently she is studying the energy sector, institutions and urbanization/regional development of Pakistan.
