Launch ceremony of BIPP's 15th Annual Report 2022

On 30th December 2022, The Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy at NetSol (BIPP) launched its 15th Annual Report, The State of the Economy: Frontline Stakeholders- Reaping the Gender Dividend at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI). Mr. Kashif Anwar the President of LCCI, presided over the event which was attended by eminent scholars, researchers, members of the academia, representatives of women-related NGO's and prominent citizens. Chief Secretary Mr. Abdullah Khan Sumbal and Chairman Punjab HEC Mr. Shahid Munir extended full cooperation to BIPP. Our Chief Guest Ms. Shaheen Attiq ur Rehman Chairperson Bunyad Foundation, Guest of Honor Ms. Sumaira Samad Secretary Women Development Department, Dr. Muhammad Nizam ud Din Pro-Rector Superior University, Dr. Raana Malik HOD Gender Studies PU provided with their invaluable appraisal of the Annual Report The launch entailed a detailed presentation of the report and a segment dedicated to the Q/As and feedback from the attendees. The year 2022 was dedicated to focusing on analyzing the magnitude of the gender sensitivity deficit in Pakistan and proposing specific policy directions and implementation frameworks which also include the use of natural resource-based endowment blueprints for promoting gender equity, equality, and empowerment
