Ms. Amina Bajwa is currently working in Prime Minister's Strategic Reform & Implementation Unit. She has led technical assistant to the Ministry of National Food Security & Research for preparation and development of the Agriculture Transformational Plan. Her major work includes analysis on agriculture credit, seed sector, extension services, grain storage and warehouse receipt financing, livestock, fisheries and cotton sectors. She is also a Co-Lead for design and development of the Prime Minister's National Agriculture Emergency Programme. She facilitated the initiative to amend the regulatory framework for development of first-ever Warehouse Receipt Financing ecosystem with State Bank of Pakistan and Securities & Exchange Commission Pakistan as well as assisted the National Agricultural Research Council to develop and approve Pak-China Agricultural. She is also a part of the Innovation Project for Doubling Yields (genome-based for cotton, rice, wheat, sugarcane crops) and assisting the Advisor to the PM on Establishment to develop first-ever performance agreements of 40 federal ministries of the Government of Pakistan. She is the founder and owner of the Salt Lake Farms where she Established and successfully farmed first-ever shrimps in saltwater wastelands in Northern Pakistan using imported live shrimp seed.
