Launch ceremony of BIPP's 13th annual report 2020

On 25th November 2020, The Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy at NetSol (BIPP) launched its flagship 13th Annual Report, The State of the Economy: Coronavirus and its Impact on the World and Pakistan at the Lahore Chamber Commerce and Industries (LCCI). The chief guest, Mr. Raja Yasir Humayun, Minister of Higher Education and Information Technology Punjab graced the event, along with notable commentators such as Dr. Asghar Ali Zaidi the Vice Chancellors of Government College University, Lahore and Major General (R) Obaid Bin Zakria the Vice Chancellor of University of Lahore and Dr. Nizam ud Din, Pro-Rector Superior University who provided their invaluable appraisal of the Annual Report's thematic areas related to the COIVD-19 pandemic, economics, agriculture, governance, law, climate change, CPEC and urbanization. The ceremony concluded with the participants taking part in a tree plantation ceremony under Mr. Faisal Haroon, Chief Conservator of Forests, Extension and Research Punjab. BIPP through its The State of the Economy: Coronavirus and its Impact on the World and Pakistan has presented development practitioners, public officer bearers, policy makers and academicians with creative and relevant policy solutions for hardline problems. Moreover, the report provides the readers with a comprehensive and comparative analysis of the spread and management of the coronavirus in Pakistan and around the globe.
